Working Papers U-M Linguistics Grad students

LaM was formed in 2002 out of the desire to unite graduate students in linguistics for two basic purposes: to play a larger role in departmental organization, and to socialize more. Since then, we've been doing a pretty good job at both. Some of our main functions currently include:

• Organizing the Linguistics Colloquium
• Heading the Social Committee
• Organizing recruitment weekends
• Publishing the Working Papers

We also like to get together for potlucks, pub nights, and parties. You can find some info about these in the pictures and events sections. This website also has some GLaM internal functions (specifically the minutes), which are restricted to members only.
